Deep Within

e4a17d681cb846fd97b3a8b5e31fee9aThe thing’s we never fully deal with, I believe is the root of how we react to certain situations that we face throughout life.

Whether we be angry, bitter, ignorant (which is so me), and even vengeful. There’s a reason why we act this way, and sometimes it’s something deep within. Thing’s that we never fully dealt with, thing’s that we just buriedย hoping that no one will notice. Once we try to rid of the thing’s that have left us scarred, we come out looking like a mess. Of course we try our best to put on a smile for everyone around us, but once night dawns we feel nothing but brokenness on the inside. I’ve talked about something similar to this before in one of my posts, but I didn’t dig deep enough for you. I want you to be able to read this, and walk away with some type of hope.

I know what it’s like to be angry, I know what it’s like to be bitter, and to feel like the whole world is caving in on me. As if there’s no room to breath, and all you can feel is this heaviness on your heart. Life can be so cruel, even the people in it.The one thing I believe people are good at, is being ignorant. We easily ignore the hurt we cause other’s, and we don’t realize how much of an impact we leave on those we love. Hurt can be difficult to deal with, mainly because there’s no way of stopping the feeling of being hurt. I’m not aiming this toward to any type of hurt, but just in general. Losing to someone can cause hurt, a broken relationship can cause hurt, losing a friend can cause hurt, and on and on. Of course that isn’t the only emotion people go through after some of the thing’s I just mentioned. But they are thing’s that we don’t let in, we’d rather make it all disappear rather than dealing with it. Some of us are a bit scared of facing some of the thing’s that we’ve hidden deep within, and you know what? That’s okay, but know that at some point you will have to come face to face with the thing’s you never fully dealt with in your life. There’s a passage in the bible that has always been one of my favorites, it talks about the different season of our lives. It’s in Ecclesiastes 3: 1-8…

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

There is no way we can hide from everything that may hurt us, norย can we hide from the date/time of when we will hurt again. You maybe the type of person who doesn’t open up all that much to people, or even to those who are very close to you. Maybe you’re looking for someone who won’t ask that question “what’s wrong?” every time you seem sad, or just out of it. Jesus, that man is such a great listener. He offers you the one thing no one else can, and that’s salvation. He waits for you to talk to Him, He years to hear your voice, and believe me when I say this. He knows how much you hurt, and how you feel in every moment! There is no need to hide from the one who can comfort you in the time of darkness, and He helps you mend with all those thing’s from your past. Jesus doesn’t question you, but He accepts you. So whatever you’re dealing with right now in life, don’t let it go unheard. Give you problems voice, let Him know what’s going on in your life. Don’t let anything, or anyone hold you back from wanting to be free.

You were made to be courageous in all you do, with Him the battle is won.

Until next time, have a great night.
